The Intermediate section is for advanced gymnasts who have been participating in the sport for a couple of years, and covers Levels 4, 5 and 6 in both the Men and Women’s Levels Programmes.  The main focus here shifts towards specific training of the elements and routines prescribed in the respective programmes, in preparation of competing in competitions, even though competing is not compulsory.

Scheduled Training Sessions:

Fourth level

  • 4 to 6 hours per week
  • Duration: 2 – 3 hours per session
  • Frequency: 2 – 3 sessions per week

Fifth and Sixth Levels

  • Nine hours per week
  • Duration: 2 – 3 hours per session
  • Frequency: 3 – 4 sessions per week
